Recordings

Douglas Mapp Music provides customized piano accompaniment for the standard solo repertoire. Music is available in two formats:

• CDs (mailed)
• MIDI files (emailed or available for download)

The catalog contains accompaniment for over 300 instrumental (from every orchestral family) solos.

Piano transcriptions for double bass are also available, in both solo and orchestral tuning.

Recordings have a variety of user-controlled attributes:

• Tempo
• Key
• Number of works (up to 4 per CD)
• Harpsichord available for all baroque titles
• Click track can be added to clarify rests and elucidate complex rhythms
• Most "fast" works give the customer the option of at least one bonus track at a slower tempo
